Honest Taskers, Peak Support, and Helpware CX lead this year's shortlist of customer support partners for healthcare SaaS companies, nine firms ranked on how they carry a software vendor's customer-facing load, from onboarding new practices and coordinating implementations to tier-one tickets, renewal outreach, and the data cleanup that no product team wants to own. The buyer is a software company selling into healthcare, so the useful comparison is whether a firm can handle both product support and protected health information, and what it publishes about price and security.
Disclosure: Honest Taskers publishes this list and appears at position 1. We're judged on the same five published criteria as every other company here.

How we chose the best customer support partners for healthcare SaaS companies
We ranked these firms on five facts, each read at the provider's own website on August 21, 2026. Those facts are whether the firm names software or SaaS among the industries it serves, whether it names healthcare too, published pricing, delivery footprint and language coverage, and the compliance it documents. The combination is the hard part. Plenty of firms support software products well and have never signed a Business Associate Agreement, and plenty of healthcare outsourcers have never debugged a failed integration. A vendor needs both, because a ticket about a data sync failure and a ticket about a patient record are the same queue. Blank facts read "not publicly listed" instead of a guess.
Best customer support partners for healthcare SaaS companies compared
The table ranks all 9 on the same columns, Honest Taskers first because we publish the list. Facts were read August 21, 2026 and change often, so treat them as a starting point, not a quote.
| Company | Names software or SaaS | Delivery locations | Published pricing | Engagement model | Compliance named |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Honest Taskers | No; healthcare staffing, placed into your tools | US clients; recruiting in the Philippines, Latin America, India and Pakistan | $10.00–$12.65/hr | Staffing by the hour | HIPAA-trained; compliance verified by Accountable; BAA when PHI is accessed |
| Peak Support | Yes, software and technology plus healthcare | The Philippines, the United States, Colombia, Eastern Europe | Not publicly listed | Managed team | States HIPAA compliance; names SOC 2 and PCI |
| Helpware CX | Technology work alongside a healthcare practice | 19 locations including the USA, Mexico, the Philippines, Ukraine, Georgia and Uganda | $8–$15/hr (stated range) | Managed team, hourly | SOC 2 Type II; ISO 27001; HIPAA; GDPR; PCI DSS |
| SupportYourApp | Yes, SaaS, IT and business-to-business | Stated coverage across 30 countries and 60 languages | Not publicly listed | Managed team | PCI DSS Level 1; ISO 27001:2022; GDPR; CCPA. No HIPAA named |
| Ubiquity | Yes, technology and software plus healthcare and wellness | New York; Texas; El Salvador; Guatemala; Colombia; Ghana; the UK; the Philippines; India | Not publicly listed | Managed team, outcome-focused | States HIPAA-compliant services; no certification named |
| HelpSquad Health | No; healthcare and general business support | US-managed | $8–$10/hr back office; $10–$13/hr voice; chat from $185/mo | Managed assistants, 20 hrs/wk minimum | HIPAA BAA plus virtual desktop included; per-assistant HIPAA certification |
| Simply Contact | Yes, SaaS and information technology plus healthcare | Five delivery centers in Europe; operations in eight countries | Not publicly listed; prices per resolved contact | Outcome-based, per resolved contact | States HIPAA compliance; PCI DSS and ISO 27001 certified; ISO 27701 |
| TaskUs | Technical support and onboarding named on its healthcare page | Not publicly listed on its healthcare page | Not publicly listed | Managed team, enterprise | Not publicly listed on its healthcare page |
| Omega Healthcare | Names life sciences and health technology firms as clients | Boca Raton, Florida; the Philippines; India; Colombia | Not publicly listed | Outsourced service, enterprise scale | Not publicly listed |
Only four of the nine name software or SaaS and healthcare together, which is the pairing this buyer needs. Two publish rates. And the firm with the strongest software credentials, SupportYourApp, names no HIPAA posture at all, while the firm with the deepest healthcare operations, Omega Healthcare, names no certifications. The middle of this list is where both boxes get ticked.
1. Honest Taskers
Best for: healthcare software vendors that need people who understand a clinic's workflow, placed inside their own tools, for implementation and customer-side data work.
Pricing: $10.00–$12.65/hrLocation: US clients; PH, LatAm, India and Pakistan recruitingModel: Staffing by the hourFirst hire: Two-week working trial
Honest Taskers approaches this from the customer's side of the software rather than the vendor's. Its staff spend their working lives inside electronic health records, practice management systems, and billing platforms, so for onboarding a practice, migrating a schedule, cleaning up a provider roster, or sitting with a clinic through go-live, they already speak the customer's language. You hire named individuals by the hour who work in your systems and your time zone, which suits implementation and customer operations better than a ticket queue does. Candidates are trained on HIPAA and data privacy under a dedicated compliance officer, and a Business Associate Agreement is signed before anyone touches protected health information, with HIPAA compliance verified by Accountable. Rates begin around $10 an hour and reach about $12.65 by role, background, schedule, and location, the first hire comes with a two-week working trial, and the company reports 99.6% average monthly retention. See the multi-purpose virtual medical assistant service for role detail.
Limitation: it is not a software support vendor, so it will not run tier-two engineering escalation, and there is no service level agreement or SOC 2 report to attach to your enterprise deals.
2. Peak Support
Best for: healthcare software vendors that need genuine technical support skill and a healthcare practice from the same partner.
Pricing: Not publicly listedLocation: PH, US, Colombia, Eastern EuropeModel: Managed teamTrial: Not publicly listed
Peak Support names software and technology and healthcare among its industries, which is the pairing this list is looking for, and its service mix reflects a software client base: customer experience, technical support, trust and safety, back office, sales and marketing, accounting, and technology and artificial intelligence work. For a vendor whose tickets range from a broken integration to a billing question, that breadth means one team rather than two. The firm states PCI and SOC 2 compliance and references HIPAA, with delivery from the Philippines, the United States, Colombia, and Eastern Europe, giving both nearshore daytime cover and offshore cost. Company-reported figures include hiring one applicant in thirty, an average of eight years of agent experience, a 95% average quality score, and a five-year average client tenure.
Limitation: no pricing is published, and its HIPAA position is stated rather than named as a certification the way PCI and SOC 2 are.
3. Helpware CX
Best for: healthcare software vendors that need audited certifications on paper to clear their own customers' security reviews.
Pricing: $8–$15/hrLocation: 19 locations across four continentsModel: Managed team, hourlyTrial: Not publicly listed
Helpware CX publishes the strongest documented compliance position here, naming SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS as third-party audited, with business associate agreements, role-based access to protected health information, and audit logging on regulated workflows. It also publishes a rate, $8 to $15 an hour for healthcare work, which almost nobody in this category does. Beyond support it sells product discovery, cloud and development operations work, custom software development, and data and artificial intelligence services, so a vendor can put support and engineering overflow with one firm. Its named client types include patient engagement platforms and telehealth platforms alongside hospital networks and health plans. Company-reported figures include a 98% quality assurance score and an error rate under 2% on patient records.
Limitation: it markets to healthcare organizations more than to software vendors, so product-support depth depends on the team it assembles for you rather than on an existing SaaS practice.
4. SupportYourApp
Best for: healthcare software vendors whose support queue is product, account, and billing questions with no clinical data in it.
Pricing: Not publicly listedLocation: 30 countries, 60 languagesModel: Managed teamTrial: Not publicly listed
SupportYourApp is the most credibly software-native firm on this list. It names SaaS, information technology, and business-to-business among its industries, runs help desk, technical support, live chat, call center, and phone answering services, and sells its own support tooling alongside artificial-intelligence agents that keep a person in the loop. It certifies PCI DSS Level 1 and ISO 27001:2022, names GDPR and CCPA compliance, and reports operating since 2010 across 30 countries with 60 languages, with named clients including Mastercard, Calm, and MacPaw. If your product is a practice-facing tool where support never opens a chart, the software depth here is hard to match.
Limitation: healthcare is not among its named industries and it names no HIPAA posture or Business Associate Agreement, so a queue that touches protected health information rules it out until that is resolved in writing.
5. Ubiquity
Best for: healthcare software vendors that need Spanish-language nearshore coverage during US business hours across a large client base.
Pricing: Not publicly listedLocation: US, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Ghana, UK, PH, IndiaModel: Managed teamTrial: Not publicly listed
Ubiquity names technology and software and healthcare and wellness among seven industries, and its geography is the strongest argument: sites in New York and Mission, Texas, plus San Salvador, San Pedro Sula, Guatemala City, and Bogotá, with Accra, Sheffield, four Philippine cities, and Ahmedabad behind them. Services run from customer care and technical support through sales, collections, and retention, plus back office and data annotation, identity verification, claims processing, chargebacks, and a line it describes as HIPAA-compliant medical billing. Company-reported figures include more than 350 clients, 96% client retention, and 96% employee retention.
Limitation: it names no security certification beyond describing services as HIPAA-compliant, and healthcare is one vertical among seven rather than a specialism.
6. HelpSquad Health
Best for: smaller healthcare software vendors that want a published rate, a signed BAA, and a US-managed team at low volume.
Pricing: $8–$13/hr by roleLocation: US-managedModel: Managed assistantsTrial: Not publicly listed
HelpSquad Health is the transparency option at small scale. Back-office work runs $8 to $10 an hour and customer-facing voice work $10 to $13, shared live chat coverage starts at $185 a month and runs to $600, and the company states $0 upfront cost, $0 implementation fees, and $0 replacement costs. A HIPAA Business Associate Agreement and a HIPAA virtual desktop are included in the rate, and the company says every assistant holds individual HIPAA certification. The work it lists suits vendor operations more than it first appears: admin, research, data entry, billing, claims, and accounts receivable on the digital side, and scheduling and intake on voice.
Limitation: engagements start at 20 hours a week per assistant on a three-month initial agreement that renews in three-month increments, and it names no software or SaaS practice.
7. Simply Contact
Best for: healthcare software vendors with European customers, or unpredictable ticket volume better paid for by outcome than by seat.
Pricing: Per resolved contactLocation: Five European delivery centersModel: Outcome-basedTrial: Not publicly listed
Simply Contact names SaaS, information technology, healthcare, and fintech among its industries and is the only firm here whose stated commercial model is paying for outcomes rather than headcount, priced per resolved contact. For a vendor whose ticket volume spikes at release or renewal, that moves the risk off your budget. Services cover customer care, help desk, back office, trust and safety, multilingual and technical support, with artificial-intelligence agents layered on. It certifies PCI DSS and ISO 27001, states ISO 27701 compliance for privacy, and lists HIPAA as fully compliant. Company-reported figures include 850 or more agents, more than 10 million requests a year, 30 or more languages, 93% average customer satisfaction, founding in 2013, and a four to six week training runway.
Limitation: all five delivery centers are in Europe, so US evening and overnight cover needs planning, and no rate is published.
8. TaskUs
Best for: funded healthcare software vendors at enterprise volume that also need content moderation or data labeling.
Pricing: Not publicly listedLocation: Not publicly listedModel: Managed team, enterpriseTrial: Not publicly listed
TaskUs names user onboarding and engagement, technical support, data capture and tagging, community moderation, and advanced data analytics on its healthcare page, sitting alongside patient and member support and payer operations. For a healthcare software vendor that combination is unusual: the same partner can staff your customer support, moderate a patient community inside your product, and label training data for a model you are building. Its stated client types include telehealth platforms, mental health platforms, and specialty and wellness platforms as well as payers and providers, so it understands the buyer. Scale is the trade: this is an enterprise vendor and the engagement sizes reflect that.
Limitation: its healthcare page publishes no certification, no delivery location, and no pricing, so everything has to be established in procurement.
9. Omega Healthcare
Best for: healthcare software vendors that need clinical data work, such as registry curation or validation of a machine learning model.
Pricing: Not publicly listedLocation: Boca Raton, PH, India, ColombiaModel: Outsourced service, enterprise scaleTrial: Not publicly listed
Omega Healthcare is the only firm here that names life sciences and health technology firms as a client type outright, and its health data curation practice is the reason a software vendor would call it: clinical trial data, real-world data, registry data management, and validation of machine learning models, which is closer to a data operations partner than a support vendor. It also runs whole-cycle revenue cycle, care coordination, payer operations, and drug access work, so a vendor whose product sits inside one of those workflows can outsource the operational layer around it. Delivery is from Boca Raton, Florida plus the Philippines, India, and Colombia.
Limitation: it names no certification, publishes no pricing, and its site's own statistics render as placeholders, so nothing can be verified before a sales conversation.
Should a healthcare SaaS vendor hire, outsource, or automate support?
Hire in-house for the work that teaches you about the product. Implementation calls and escalations are where you learn which parts of the workflow break, and outsourcing that too early costs you the signal. Outsource the repeating tier-one volume once patterns are stable, which is where a managed team earns its margin, and the cost difference is real: a medical records specialist earned about $51,140 a year, roughly $24.59 an hour before benefits, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics May 2025 wage data for medical records specialists, against roughly $8 to $15 an hour for offshore or placed remote staff. Automate the deflectable tail, since password resets, status lookups, and how-do-I questions are documentation problems more than support problems. What automation should not own is a clinical workflow question from a practice mid-shift, because a wrong answer there interrupts patient care rather than annoying a user. What are the risks of outsourcing support at a healthcare SaaS company?
Your risks are your customers' risks, one layer removed, and they surface in procurement rather than in the support queue.
- Your customers' security reviews. A subprocessor with no named certification becomes a line item in every enterprise deal you try to close, so treat certifications as a sales asset, not a compliance chore.
- BAA scope. Confirm the Business Associate Agreement covers the actual access your agents get, including production database views and screen sharing during implementations.
- Subprocessor disclosure. Check your own customer contracts and privacy notice for subprocessor notification duties before the partner goes live.
- Product knowledge decay. Ask about agent tenure and how release notes reach the team, since a vendor team that churns will keep escalating what it should resolve.
- Escalation boundaries. Define where a ticket stops being support and becomes engineering, in writing, or your own team absorbs the ambiguity.
How is outsourced healthcare SaaS support priced?
Three shapes, and only two firms publish numbers. Hourly is the transparent model: Helpware CX states $8 to $15 an hour for healthcare work, HelpSquad Health publishes $8 to $10 for back office and $10 to $13 for voice, and Honest Taskers publishes $10.00 to $12.65 by role, background, schedule, and location. Flat monthly plans exist for narrow scopes, such as HelpSquad Health's shared chat from $185 a month. Outcome pricing per resolved contact is what Simply Contact leads with, and Ubiquity frames its model around outcomes too. The rest are quote-only. The comparable unit is cost per resolved ticket, which you can work out from an hourly rate once you know tickets per agent hour, so ask for both numbers together. Rates were checked August 2026. For rate context on the staffing side, see how much a virtual medical assistant costs in 2026.
What should a healthcare SaaS company look for in a support partner?
Both halves of the brief, documented security, coverage that matches your customers, and a ramp time you can plan around.
- Software and healthcare in the same firm. Four of nine name both. A firm that names only one will be learning the other on your tickets.
- Certifications you can forward. A SOC 2 Type II report or ISO 27001 certificate shortens your own enterprise sales cycle more than any support metric will.
- A BAA that matches real access. Implementation staff usually see more data than tier-one agents, so scope the agreement to the widest access, not the narrowest.
- Coverage that matches your customers' hours. Practices call during clinic hours, so match time zones to your customer base rather than to your own office.
- A stated ramp time. Ask how long from contract to a productive agent and what that becomes when you double the team.
To scope the role before you shop, the virtual medical assistant duties breakdown covers the operational work in detail.
How do you start with a healthcare SaaS support partner?
Start by separating tickets that need clinical data from tickets that do not, because that line decides which firms are even eligible.
- Categorise your ticket types and mark which ones require access to protected health information or a production database.
- Decide whether you want placed staff inside your tools or a managed queue with a service level agreement.
- Shortlist on the software and healthcare pairing first, then on price.
- Get the Business Associate Agreement and the security report before granting any system access, and check your own subprocessor obligations.
- Pilot on one ticket type, measure first-response time, resolution rate, and escalation rate against your baseline, then widen.

Methodology and sources
We read each company's own website on August 21, 2026, recording named industries, published pricing, delivery locations and language coverage, engagement model and minimums, and stated compliance including HIPAA and any Business Associate Agreement. Wage context is from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics May 2025 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics for medical records specialists. Where a company didn't publish a fact, we marked it "not publicly listed"; self-stated figures such as satisfaction scores, client counts, and tenure are labeled company-reported and were not independently audited. Rates were captured as dated points, not permanent quotes.
